Tangerang, pilarmedianusantara.com – Acting Mayor of Tangerang, Dr. Nurdin, accompanied by Acting Head of Satpol PP Irman Puja Hendra and Ciledug Subdistrict Head Ayi Nuryadin, inspected the Waste Disposal Site (TPS) located in Gang Winong Dalam, Sudimara Timur Subdistrict. The TPS has drawn attention due to its location in the middle of a residential area and the frequent buildup of waste from Sudimara Timur and Sudimara Selatan Subdistricts.
This condition has caused unpleasant odors and raised concerns about potential health risks for nearby residents. In response, Dr. Nurdin instructed the Environmental Agency (DLH) to immediately deploy additional waste transport trucks.
> “There will be additional trucks from the Environmental Agency to transport the waste so that there will no longer be any pileups at this location,” said Dr. Nurdin.
As a long-term solution, the Winong TPS, situated on privately owned land, will be converted into a waste transit point before being transported to the Rawa Kucing Final Disposal Site (TPA) in Neglasari District.

also urged residents to make better use of Waste Banks in their respective neighborhood units (RT/RW). A household-based waste management system involving waste segregation is expected to minimize the volume of waste sent to the TPA.
