Most recently, Dindik Tangerang City won second place at the 2024 Banten Province Public Service Innovation Competition (KIPP) with its innovative Inclusive School Supervision System (SPASI)
he award was personally presented by Acting Governor of Banten, A Damenta, to the Head of Dindik Tangerang City, Jamaluddin, during the KIPP Banten Awards Ceremony held at the Governor’s Pendopo in Serang City on Tuesday (31/12/24).
Jamaluddin expressed pride and gratitude for this achievement, emphasizing its importance in advancing education in Tangerang City.
“Congratulations and thank you to all education personnel involved in creating and implementing SPASI to promote inclusive schools in Tangerang City. Education is the right of every child, including those with special needs,” he said.
Jamaluddin explained that SPASI is a digital platform designed to monitor the implementation of inclusive schools. The system ensures that inclusive schools meet the established standards.
“SPASI functions as a monitoring and evaluation tool to track the progress and performance of inclusive schools. It integrates a database of students with disabilities, schools, and supporting programs,” Jamaluddin explained.
He further elaborated, “Through SPASI, data analysis becomes easier for policymaking, enhancing the accountability of inclusive schools, and identifying obstacles faced by these schools.”
The KIPP Banten Awards aim to foster public service innovations that prioritize service excellence while recognizing local governments for their efforts in delivering innovative public services to the community.
